In the Footsteps of Tadeusz Kościuszko
On Saturday, June 6, students from the Maria Skłodowska-Curie School of the Polish Embassy in Bern, based in Zurich, visited the Tadeusz Kościuszko Museum in Solothurn. There, they took part in a history lesson dedicated to the life and achievements of the military leader. The students learned many interesting facts about Tadeusz Kościuszko.
The subsequent route led through the city and its landmarks to Zuchwil, where the Polish memorial site preserves traces of Polish history: the Kościuszko monument, beneath which his internal organs are buried, the Polish Chapel, a stone bench made by interned soldiers, and Kościuszko Street.
We hope that this visit leaves a lasting impression.
We warmly invite other school classes to visit our museum.
